Since the opening of the Langdale Quest site in September 1995, we have been asked by the more experienced off-roaders to provide a route which would put their driving skills & uprated vehicles to the test.
After 6 years of planning we opened our 'X-treme' route - 20+ miles of almost impossible terrain. Many teams embark on this route but only a few ever fully complete all the sections!
The above pictures have not be edited or altered in any way - what you see is EXACTLY what you get. Now, two years down the line, our X-treme route is well known Nationwide as being THE most challenging terrain available on a non-competitive site.
Should you rise to the challenge of the X-treme you will need to ensure you & your vehicle are prepared. Self recovery equipment is compulsory, teams of 3 vehicles recommended. Rest assured this is no walk in the park!
